... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 9 PM CST this evening...
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 9 PM CST this evening.
Winds will frequently gust over 25 mph across the area this
afternoon and early evening.
A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.

- High Wind Advisory
A high wind advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 mph or greater are expected to occur for at least 1 hour. This advisory can also be issued if winds of 46 mph or greater are expected for any length of time.
